There’s no denying that beauty is pricey, but there are products that can make you look like a million bucks without costing a fortune. Beauty on a budget has been my favorite topic for years so today I’m going to share with you some affordable favorites.
Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer ($9.20)
I’m not used to wearing primers because the majority of them used to break me out. However, I can’t deny their existence forever. This budget beauty candidate is one that doesn’t disappoint and is perfect for everyday wear. It’s pearl gel like texture, mattifying properties and reasonable price tag makes this a favorite of mine. I mainly use it when I have a long day or a special event and I need my makeup to look good until I remove it at night. This hasn’t broke me out which is a plus.
Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Normal/ Dry Skin ($9.30)
I already mentioned this foundation in the Best Drugstore Foundation top and I stand by my choice. If you’re on a beauty budget, then you know how hard it is to find a foundation that meets all the requirements. This is long lasting, has a medium coverage and a really good price. Revlon’s foundation seems to be everyone’s favorite and I must confess, I do understand the hype.
Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer ($10.15)
Everyone seems to rave about Tarte’s concealer nowadays. When I first heard that there’s a perfect dupe for it, I longed at the opportunity to test it! While I can’t confirm if Makeup Revolution’s concealer is indeed a dupe for Tarte Shape Tape concealer, I do like this one for my face. First of all, the color is a perfect match for my skin tone. Secondly, the coverage is good but undetectable. And lastly, the price is right which makes this product a perfect candidate for beauty on a budget category.
Catrice Camouflage Cream Concealer ($10.49)
For as long as I can remember I searched for concealers that can hide my dark circles. Catrice’s Camouflage Cream concealer is among the most popular ones. With a creamy texture that provides a high coverage, this product is perfect for days when I look tired or I need to cover a pimple. Remember to always use a light hand with this one.
Rimmel Match Perfection Silky Loose Powder ($6.39)
Beauty on a budget seekers, beware because I have found the perfect loose powder. If your skin is dry or normal, you may want to check this powder out. With a silky texture and light reflecting properties, this powder is the perfect choice for days when I want to look at my best. While it doesn’t keep oil at bay the entire day, I do like this a lot. After all, this is a setting powder, not a mattifying one.
NYX Professional Micro Brow Pencil ($6.27)
Perfect for the beauty on a budget category and a dupe for Anastasia’s Brow Wiz (or so people say), NYX’s eyebrow pencil is among my all time favorites. There are so many ways I can use this, my personal favorite being to use this to define my brow’s arch. I also use this when I’m going for a natural makeup look or the no makeup makeup, because it looks so natural. I didn’t get a chance to test the famous Anastasia Brow wiz, but who knows. Maybe I will and I’ll be able to decide if the NYX Micro Brow Pencil really is a dupe for Anastasia’s Brow Wiz.
